Ovilly started when we counted the weddings in a single friend's year and realised the dress problem: you want something elegant, flattering, in your price range, and different from what you wore last time. We wanted a proper collection that covers the bases — maxi for garden weddings, midi for registry offices, cocktail for evening receptions. Ten pieces, updated seasonally, prices that let you buy a new dress for every wedding.
What we stand for
Every piece we carry is chosen with care. We're not interested in stocking thousands of styles — we want a tight edit that works hard, travels well, and earns a place in your wardrobe. That means breathable fabrics, considered cuts, and prints we'd happily wear ourselves.
Small brand, considered choices
Ovilly is run by a small team. Our catalogue changes slowly on purpose — we'd rather get a handful of pieces right than flood the site with options. That approach means every style is one we've reviewed, photographed, and genuinely believe in.
Made to last, kindly
We think carefully about the pieces we source. Where possible we prioritise fabrics that feel good on the skin and silhouettes that flatter without being fussy. If something doesn't feel right, we don't list it.
